(© Frank Albin) The Federal Foreign Office therefore supports some 120 to 140 projects of varying sizes each year around the world, predominantly in emerging and developing countries in Africa, Asia, Central and South America and Eastern Europe. Often even relatively modest contributions of about 10,000 euros can help to make a tangible and lasting improvement to the human rights situation on the ground.
