Ambassador Schlüter visits new government in St. Lucia

 On Thursday, 3 May 2012, Ambassador Schlüter visited St. Lucia to have discussions with the newly appointed government  and the opposition. During his stay, he had interesting conversations with the Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Kenny D. Anthony and the Foreign Minister, the Hon. Alva Baptiste and Sen. the Hon. Dr. James Fletcher, Minister for the Public Service, Sustainable Development, Energy, Science & Technology. Ambassador Schlüter was accompanied by Mr. Thomas Scheutzlich, principal advisor of CREDP-GIZ (Caribbean Renewable Energy Development Project - Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit /German Society for International Cooperation) and Honorary Consul to Germany in St. Lucia, Mrs Karolin Troubetzkoy.

A reception was hosted by Mrs Troubetzkoy in honour of the Ambassador and his wife which was attended by several cabinet members and other personalities.
