The Renewable Energy Education Project

The Renewable Energy Education Project 2015 engaged students, teachers and guardians from four secondary schools across Trinidad and Tobago from November 2014 to April 2015. It combined film, games, presentations, discussions, hands on Pupils at the Diego Martin Central Secondary Enlarge image Pupils at the Diego Martin Central Secondary (© Sustain T&T) demonstrations and prizes to bring renewable energy concepts to life for selected schools.

Across the four participating schools 200 quizzes were administered. At each school, 50 students were chosen at random and asked to answer 10 questions on renewable energy. Of these, 25 students were directly exposed to The Renewable Energy Education Project.
