Certificate of good conduct

Persons aged 14 or over will be issued a certificate of conduct for private purposes (private certificate of conduct) or a certificate of conduct for presentation to a German authority (official certificate of conduct) upon application.

Before forwarding the application your signature has to be authenticated by the German Embassy or the Honorary Consuls.

If you intend to use the certificate of conduct at an authority in one of the countries of the jurisdiction of the Embassy (Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Suriname, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines) the certificate needs to bear an apostille. When appliying for the certificate please apply for an apostille at the same time and the same authority stating the country where the certificate is to be used.
