On 27 and 28 February, 2012, a trade mission from Trinidad and Tobago organized by the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce and funded by the European Commission will visit Hamburg and Munich in Germany. At business roundtables organized by the Latin America Association and the local chambers of commerce, the representatives of nine companies from Trinidad and Tobago will present business opportunities in the twin islands and explore further opportunities to export their products to Germany. The trade mission is also scheduled to visit the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

In 2010, Trinidad and Tobago’s imports from Germany, mostly machines and vehicles, stood at almost 130m € (over 170m US $) and its exports to Germany, mostly iron, steel and chemicals, at more than 90m € or 120m US $.
