Academy for Foreign Coaches - athletic course

The Academy for Foreign Coaches (DLV)  in Mainz, Germany, organises a course for foreign sports trainers in athletics.

Course Date: 1st of June 2017 – 31st of July 2018

Deadline of Application: 10th December 2016

Applications (original plus one copy) should be submitted to the Embassy well before the indicated deadline! They must be accompanied by a recommendation from the national athletic governing body, a medical certificate, a motivational letter and 4 biometric photos.

Incomplete or late applications cannot be considered. Applications may be submitted to the Embassy directly by the applicant. The number of positions in the course is limited. Experiences from the past have shown a “first come first serve” policy of the Academy for Foreign Coaches.

 

Please note that the travelling costs to and from Germany have to be borne by the applicant. The following costs will be borne by the organisers:

  • Tuition fees for language and professional training,
  • Monthly stipend of 400 Euro,
  • Accommodation in single rooms at the Academy for Foreign Coaches,
  • Health insurance (does not include pre-existing illnesses and dental prosthesis),
  • Teaching material and
  • One time payment of 300 Euro for clothing appropriate to german climate

The maximum age of applicants is 40 years! The applicants must be nationals of Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Suriname, St. Lucia or St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
