It involves hard work as well as an immersion into student parties - it moulds your life. You might say, it is a pursuit of happiness for everyone. It is also the time of getting more independent and being curious about the rest of the world. Which timing could be better to take a glimpse beyond one’s own nose? The experience of a new culture, far away from family and home can be a real challenge. People who have taken this challenge in the past usually say that they have grown as a person.

Study possibilities are wide and it is neither easy to find a subject one is passionate about nor to find a country which responds to your needs and wishes. A lot of students from the Caribbean choose to go to the US, Canada or the UK. They do this for many reasons, among others because they have relatives in the country and won’t have to tackle any language barriers.

However, did you ever think about the possibility to go to a more “exotic” place to study? A lot of German universities offer the possibility to study in English. Did you ever consider Germany as a place where you could study?
